Positive responses to life

Every turn has a positive spin, weather it's the books I'm reading, the songs I'm listening too or the lectures I have attended; the universe does not want me to miss out on the moment of being positive therefore.... I will  be filling a person's bucket and making sure the interactions I have are meaningful.  Studying Appreciative Inquiry I'm  molding my words and outlook for success and strength in future programs and experiences. The last tid bit is songs from Rent have kept me going all week. I'm remembering the good times and moments that made up the past few years and who I am.
I'm going to leave you with a quote from class today:

"There is no power greater than a community discovering
What it cares about

Ask "What's possible?" not "What's wrong?" Keep asking.

Notice what you care about.
Assume that many others share your dreams.

Be brave enough to start a conversation that matters.
Talk to people you know.
Talk to people you don't know.
Talk to people you never talk to.

Be intrigued by the differences you hear.
Expect to be surprised.
Treasure curiosity more than certainty.

Invite in everybody who cares to work on what's possible.
Acknowledge that everyone is an expert about something.
Know that creative solutions come from new connections.

Remember, you don't fear people whose story you know.
Real listening always brings people closer together.

Trust that meaningful conversations can change your world.

Rely on human goodness. Stay together.

Life is always changing, but our view can determine it's happiness.

Gumption

I have been on a journey reading a number of books over the last few weeks trying to find an inner voice through other peoples words. It started with I love female orgasms, Why men love bitches, What men say, what women hear,  I watched the movie Leap year and then started reading How full is your bucket?  and then watched the movie Miss Potter and found a few themes and personal inspiration. It's a very simple inspiration that I find in many other stories, but most elequently explained in the movie The Holiday ...Gumption. "You are suppose to be the leading lady in your own life", explained by Arthur.    But gumption is not good with out a voice and in each of these books or movies a person does find there voice and learns how to use it.  Hopefully over the next few months I can start placing what I learned into readable vignettes that capture a bit of the soul of a female.

Where I'm from

Recently I found a new love wrapped up in a black casing with a very long lens. My new amore is my camera and all of the moments it captures. The picture above is a lane I grew up playing on behind my parent’s house. In a short moment when the sun was coming up before black Friday began I captured a little piece of my paradise.
Down this lane I often pondered, wondered, and dreamed about life. While the location has changed the questions, interests, and dreams are all still alive and well.
